Come to the Branson RecPlex on Tuesday April 22nd from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to recycle your old phonebooks.

There will be free hot dogs, chips and soda, as well as cool giveaways & door prizes. Enjoy a special appearence by Bart Rockett!

The Girl Scouts will get money for every old phonebook you bring in. You can also adopt a pet from the Taney County Animal Shelter.

So join your friends & neighbors, Ozark Mountain Girl Scouts, Branson Recycle Center, Nestle’ Purina Pet Care and Taney County Animal Shelter.

(04-15-08 Branson, MO) Branson’s radio station, KBRS.net, has announced that it will be teaming up with the historic Owens Theatre this weekend for a benefit concert to benefit area flood victims. The Superstar Sampler show will be performed both Saturday and Sunday at 3pm at the theater. Mark Barron, Marketing director with KBRS.net, said the Branson focused station is excited to help in any small way they can. “We were happy when Dave Ehlert asked us to promote this event that will help devastated families in the ‘Tri-Lakes’ area. When Dave said that 100 percent of the proceeds from the two shows would go to help those hurt recently, we got onboard immediately.”
The Owens Theatre ‘Superstar Sampler Show’ will feature ‘A Visit with Mark Twain, The Loretta Lynn Tribute, ‘The Hank & Patsy Tribute’ and ‘Elvis and the Superstars’. Admission is $10 dollars for adults and $5 dollars for kids 6-16 years of age. More information is available by calling 417-336-2112.
