23rd Annual July 4th Celebration Made Possible By Contributions from Community Businesses and Residents

June 21, 2010 – The Table Rock Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is a pleased to announce the 23rd Annual FireBurst Celebration, the Tri-Lakes Area’s largest fireworks celebration, will take place on July 4th in Kimberling City. Expanded activities this year will create a day-long celebration for families and friends to celebrate the birthday of the United States of America.

As one of the oldest July 4th celebrations in the Tri-Lakes area, FireBurst brings together both residents and guests to celebrate Independence Day and the rich heritage of the United States of America. This important event is only possible because of contributions from local businesses and residents.

“FireBurst is a community sponsored event. In order to provide this celebration that so many residents and visitors enjoy each year, the Table Rock Lake Area Chamber of Commerce depends on contributions from local businesses and area residents,” says Heather Cognito, Director of Special Events for the Table Rock Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. “We want to encourage our local businesses and residents to make a contribution of any size and give our visitors another reason to spend Independence Day in the Table Rock Lake area.”

The day-long celebration begins at noon with the opening of the “Vendor Village” on the Harter House parking lot and continues throughout the day. Food and beverages and artisan displays will be available for purchase or display. Interactive games area also planned by many vendors. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. and will be visible from both land and lake. As in past years, the fireworks display can be viewed from numerous areas around the Kimberling City Bridge.

Wyli Barnes, President/CEO of the Table Rock Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, says, “We are very excited about FireBurst 2010. We encourage everyone to join us on July 4th as we celebrate our nation’s birthday.”
