Students involved in Branson High School’s Pirates Dig a Well Campaign have organized a silent auction at the Payne Stewart Golf Club on October 29th. Their efforts will raise money to dig a water well in Ethiopia. This will be the second event hosted by the school’s humanitarian aid campaign which was founded by student Michael Gibson, yearbook and business teacher April Fiesler, as well as other students involved in the yearbook class. All proceeds raised from this event will go to providing clean water for a village in Ethiopia suffering from the effects of contaminated water.
The Pirates Dig a Well Silent Auction will be held at the Payne Stewart Golf Club and is scheduled for October 29 from 7:00-9:00 PM. The silent auction will feature a variety of items, including signed celebrity donations. They will also feature performances by The Lennon Sisters, Jim Barber, as well as America’s Got Talent’s Voices of Glory, and special appearances by Andy Williams and Jimmy Osmond.
