(Branson, MO.) The all new hit show “Dinner with Yakov” is returning to the Branson stage in the fall of 2014 with his side-splitting comedy and a delectable mouth- watering feast.

As scheduled for this season (2013), Yakov will be performing “Dinner with Yakov” at his Branson theater during October and November of 2013, after traveling around the U. S. with his acclaimed “The Happily Ever Laughter Tour.”  “Dinner with Yakov” gives fans a chance to enjoy a delicious dinner with a star, while laughing the entire way through their meal.

Since 1992, Smirnoff has performed in his own 2,000 seat theater in Branson, Missouri, where he has entertained over four million visitors and produced several outstanding award-winning shows. His comedic style is firmly grounded within his mission statement “to experience happiness and teach it to the world with passion through comedy and sensitivity.”

In Yakov’s all new show, audience members will enjoy his insightful and laughter-filled philosophy on life, love, family and country. He takes his comedy to a new level to showcase laughter’s effects on relationships and envisions a world where sadness and tears are replaced with love and laughter. The New York Times called his one man hit Broadway show, “warm-hearted, delightful and splendidly funny.”

A mainstay in the entertainment scene since the late 1970’s, Smirnoff was a regular guest star on the award winning NBC sitcom, Night Court.  He has been a popular guest on numerous national TV shows including the Tonight Show. You’ve seen him on HBO and enjoyed his humor on his highly praised Showtime special.

America’s Favorite Comedian, Yakov, has also co-starred in movies with Robin Williams in Moscow on the Hudson, Tom Hanks in The Money Pit, Meryl Streep and JackNicholson in Heartburn, and Richard Pryor in Brewster’s Millions.  He was invited to perform at the White House for several presidents and honored guests. President Ronald Reagan called Yakov a “national treasure.”

“Yakov is a funny philosopher,” stated The Philadelphia Inquirer. His humorous philosophies can also be heard at Missouri State University and Drury University, where Smirnoff is a professor who teaches about the relationship of love and laughter.  Also a bestselling author, Yakov received his master’s degree in psychology from the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania.
