June 27- The Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows has once again been awarded the coveted Comfort Inn Hotel of the Year award by Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH). This marks the second consecutive win and fourth overall win for the hotel, which is part of the locally owned Myer Hotels family. The esteemed honor was presented during Choice Hotels 60th annual convention in Las Vegas.

“Winning this honor for the second year in a row is very exciting for our entire team,” said Chris Myer, Vice President of Marketing for Myer Hotels. “Being recognized by Choice Hotels again this year highlights our team’s commitment to providing unique and memorable guest experiences.”

The Choice Hotels Owners Council presents the annual Hotel of the Year award to properties that set the industry standard for hospitality and overall lodging experience for guests. The Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows and the Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills were both recognized as 2014 finalists, giving Myer Hotels two of the three finalist properties. This year’s win by the Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows makes it the most awarded Comfort Inn in the history of the brand.

“Comfort is our company’s largest and most widely recognized brand. So being recognized as the most decorated Comfort Inn of all time shows that the Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows truly is an exceptional performer,” said Stephen P. Joyce, President and Chief Executive Officer of Choice Hotels. “We are proud to be partners with the Myer Family and applaud their sustained commitment to their guests and the hospitality industry.”

It is easy to see why the Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows is continually recognized as one of the top hotels in the country. The rustic lodge combines remarkable views of the Ozarks landscape with 102 beautifully designed rooms, numerous amenities for guests and Ozark hospitality at its finest.

Myer Hotels is no stranger to top-ranked hotels. Collectively, the company has received numerous national hospitality awards. Along with the Comfort Inn & Suites at Thousand Hills and Comfort Inn West, the Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows has consistently been nominated for Choice Hotels’ Hotel of the Year Award for the past five years. In 2012 and 2013, the three properties were the only nominees, a significant honor for the Myer family.

According to Myer, there is another driving force behind their hotels’ success.

“We have the most friendly and committed team of individuals in the business. Their constant commitment to providing excellent customer service is what enhances the guest’s experience and keeps them coming back year after year.”

Branson Segway & Adventure Center has received TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence award. The certificate, which honors exceptional guest care, is given only to businesses that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor.com. Guest reviews and ratings are the deciding factor for the award.

“Winning this certificate means so much because it is based on guest feedback,” said Steve Hager, Manager of the Branson Segway & Adventure Center attraction. “Riding a Segway is a fun experience, and it is great to be recognized for the experience and staff service.”

To be eligible for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five. Customer reviews, volume of reviews, and popularity ranking on the site are also taken into consideration. Now in it’s second season of business, Branson Segway & Adventure Center has maintained an overall five out of five rating.

The award also reflects the crew’s commitment to guest satisfaction. “The staff truly cares about the safety and enjoyment of the guests,” said Hager. “I think our visitors recognize that.”
