		<description><![CDATA[<p>The show known as Warren Wally and The Boys has changed venues, they are now known as &#8220;Real Country Featuring Wally Barbee and Warren Farren&#8221;.  They are in the 8 o&#8217;clock slot at the Gene Williams Showcase Theatre in the Branson Mall.  The phone number to the box office is 417-335-4400.</p>
<p>This Sunday the Gene Williams Showcase television show will be featuring Warren and Wally, the taping is open to the public an the admission is free.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>It’s been over 30 years since Jim Owen portrayed Hank Williams Sr. in his PBS special &#8220;Hank&#8221; and this week on the Lucas Oil sponsored “Gene Williams Country Music Television Show” Owen is honored for his work with a gold record. The awards just keep coming when Williams is also surprised with one presented to him from his fans.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>Since the early 1900s the Branson Fire Department has provided fire and life safety services and now the community it serves has an opportunity to give back on May 17-18 in the Jubilee parking lot 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.</p>
<p>The Branson Fire Department and Auxiliary are hosting a fund-raiser with all the proceeds going to several funds to help firefighters in their time of need. Funds include Branson Firefighters Association, Branson Firefighters Auxiliary, Branson Fire Rescue Honor Guard, E.F.F.O.R.T. (Every Firefighter Offering Relief Together) and C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team).</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>“Lookin’ for Love” Johnny Lee will star in his own show beginning in September in the new Gene Williams Theatre in Branson and recently announced that the tickets will be only $15 a person.</p>
<p>“That’s an amazing price for this level of entertainment in Branson or anywhere else. Johnny Lee has had top hits on Billboard charts and numerous concert, television and Grand Ole Opry appearances,” said Gene Williams who showcases his own TV show in the Gene Williams Theatre along with several other live shows.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>(BRANSON, MO.)    Arts and crafts, live music, the Outrageous Dog Show, sidewalk sales and other family fun are featured May 16-18 at the 35th Annual Plumb Nellie Days.</p>
<p>Organized by the Downtown Branson Main Street Association (DBMA), Plumb Nellie Days is a springtime tradition, said DBMA Events Coordinator Paula Gillispie. Gillispie has pulled together the details for the three-day event. More than 120 booths have been reserved by artists, crafters and food vendors. Many of the craft booths will be under a tent. The crafts tent and other booths will be arranged on the Awbery parking lot at Commercial and Pacific Streets in downtown Branson, just behind Dick’s Old-Fashioned 5 &#38; 10.</p>

<p>Press Conference Announcing New BVTF Billboard</p>
<p>To officially launch the striking new Branson Veterans Task Force billboard located at Hwy 65 and Hwy 76, a press conference is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13 at 3 pm in front of Bob Evans Restaurant.</p>
<p>The billboard will let all visitors know that Branson is truly the ‘Veteran Connection.’  The city holds at least 17 events a year and is well-known as a favorite destination for military reunions.  Veterans Week in November is the country’s largest.  In May women who served are specifically honored during Women Veterans Week, the third week in May.</p>
<p>By partnering with area businesses, the Task Force offers the best of Branson to our veterans and military reunion groups.  Branson, as a community, honors veterans 365 days a year.   [...]]]></description>
