The free event is designed to celebrate the joy of reading among families, while children enjoy riding stick horses \u201crodeo style\u201d in the Dixie Stampede performance arena.<\/p>\n<p>Dolly Parton\u2019s Imagination Library \u201cWhoadeo\u201d will showcase 5 events including: Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Trail or Obstacle Course, Bucking Horse and Jumping. Children and adults will compete on a \u201cstick horse\u201d as they race around barrels, jump over obstacles or manage to not get \u201cbucked\u201d off their horse. Prizes will be awarded for top times and creative \u201cbucking\u201d. Dixie Stampede will provide stick horses for \u201cWhoadeo\u201d participants or children may bring their own.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy Imagination Library \u2018Whoadeo\u2019 is a fun event for all ages,\u201d Dolly said. \u201cWe just want families to connect reading with fun. There\u2019s nothing better for a child\u2019s mind than reading, so we hope that with each book, the child will dream more, learn more, care more and be more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also featured during the \u201cWhoadeo\u201d at Dixie Stampede will be kids\u2019 games, face painting, animal exhibitions, as well as giveaways from companies and public agencies that serve families.<\/p>\n<p>All proceeds from Dixie Stampede Dinner &amp; Show performance that evening, Saturday, October 8th will be donated to Dolly Parton\u2019s Imagination Library.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Experience Dolly Parton\u2019s Imagination Library come to life at the \u201cWhoadeo\u201d on, Saturday, October 8th from 10:30AM to 1PM at Dixie Stampede in Branson.
