CAM’s 4th Annual Gospel Sing Off

Sight & Sound Theatres

Branson, Mo…This year’s 4th Annual Gospel Sing Off at Sight & Sound Theatres on Sunday, September 2nd will open with a guest appearance by Branson’s own Voices of Glory, Top Five Finalists in America’s Got Talent.

Competition will be tough this year according to CAM Board Chairman Jack Burke, “The level of entry talent just keeps getting higher every year. Groups that would have made it to the finals in past years, didn’t make it this year. Our preliminary judges had an extremely difficult time arriving at a decision on the final 10 contestants to perform at the Sing Off. Many of the entries were award-winners in their own right. This year’s show should truly be awesome!”

Last years winner Voices of Glory

Aside from Voices of Glory, last year’s winner Southern Raised will also be on hand for a guest appearance, as well as Branson’s premiere saxophonist Gary Dooms. Celebrity judges will include on the the Voices of Glory, Jak Knudsen, George Dyer, Ronnie Page, Monte Schisler, and Ben Dutton. Host for the fourth straight year will be the legendary Bob Hubbard of the Jordanaires and Foggy River Boys.

Burke explained that this is a critical fundraiser for the CAM Food Pantries of Branson and Forsyth, “Demand for food continues to increase and we are currently providing a 4-day supply of food to over 1,000 families per month in Taney County. Coupling that with federal cutbacks, we’ve also had to purchase much more food than in the past in order to maintain a nutritionally balanced food basket for those that need our help. This is the only operational fundraiser that we hold and we are praying that residents and tourists will fill the theater this year.”

Contestants will compete for cash prizes, as well as the opportunity for the first place winner to perform three thirty-minute shows at Silver Dollar City the following day for the closing of the Country Gospel Picnic Festival.
