Press Conference Announcing New BVTF Billboard<\/p>\n
To officially launch the striking new Branson Veterans Task Force billboard located at Hwy 65 and Hwy 76, a press conference is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13 at 3 pm in front of Bob Evans Restaurant.<\/p>\n
The billboard will let all visitors know that Branson is truly the \u2018Veteran Connection.\u2019 The city holds at least 17 events a year and is well-known as a favorite destination for military reunions. Veterans Week in November is the country\u2019s largest. In May women who served are specifically honored during Women Veterans Week, the third week in May.<\/p>\n
By partnering with area businesses, the Task Force offers the best of Branson to our veterans and military reunion groups. Branson, as a community, honors veterans 365 days a year. The Branson Veterans History Project is an active partner with the Library of Congress in conducting and archiving veteran interviews.<\/p>\n
