The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, known as “The Wall,” will be on display and open to the public for viewing at the Welk Resort Branson during the 2014 Memorial Day Weekend May 23-26, 2014.<\/p>\n
Though the Welk Resort has displayed “The Wall” for the past 17 years during the Veteran’s Homecoming Celebration in November, this will be the first time the memorial has been erected for Memorial Day.<\/p>\n
The official, half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, lists the names of those who gave their lives during the Vietnam War, and is the most visited memorial in Washington, D.C. The Wall is available for public viewing during daylight hours May 23-26. A special locator book will be available to assist visitors in finding specific names.<\/p>\n
