\nBRANSON, MO. \u2013 Three J-1 Work and Travel Program sponsors have joined forces to launch the first annual J Day in Missouri, Texas and Virginia on Monday, August 4. J Day is a celebration of international exchange participants coming together in their communities to share cultural diversity and American customs. <\/p>\n
\nBBQ picnic, Olympic style games, and a scavenger hunt. In addition, participants attending each
\nJ Day celebration are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to non-profit
\norganizations in each community.<\/p>\n

\nThe J-1 Work and Travel Program offers international university students the opportunity to experience the benefits of cultural exchange while working in seasonal positions in the United States. Each J-1 Work and Travel Program sponsor is designated by the United States Department of State (DOS).
