Kick-off this fun-filled weekend with the Anything Goes Contest! With an \u201copen-mic\u201d feel, get ready for anything: Cross-tuning, Trick and Fancy Fiddling allowed! The applause meter will decide the winner!<\/p>\n
4 places will be awarded: $50 \u2013 $300<\/p>\n
Mid-America Fiddle Competition<\/b><\/p>\n
Saturday, August 29th \u2013 9 am \u2013 Music Hall (8:30 am Registration)<\/p>\n
Saturday morning the real fun begins with the Mid-America Fiddle Competition. Featuring six different divisions of competition with awards and opportunity to advance to Finals.<\/p>\n
Divisions Include:<\/p>\n
Pee-Wee (10 and under): 6 places awarded ($15 \u2013 $100)
\nJunior (11 \u2013 16): 6 places advance to Finals.
\nAccompanist: 5 places awarded ($50 \u2013 $300)
\nSenior (60 & over): 3 places awarded ($100 \u2013 $300)
\nAdult (17 \u2013 59): 5 places advance to Finals.
\nOpen: 6 places advance to Finals.<\/p>\n
Mid-America Finals\/Championship<\/b><\/p>\n
Sunday, August 30th \u2013 1 pm \u2013 Music Hall<\/p>\n
Sunday afternoon begins the quest to find the best of the best and name the 2015 Champion!<\/p>\n
Division Finals Include:<\/p>\n
Junior (10 \u2013 16): 6 places awarded ($50 \u2013 $400)
\nAdult (17 \u2013 60): 5 places awarded ($100 \u2013 $600)
\nOpen: 6 places awarded ($100 \u2013 $800)
\nTop 3 advance to Round Robin.
