{"id":53743,"date":"2015-12-01T09:20:41","date_gmt":"2015-12-01T15:20:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/broadcast.branson.com\/?p=53743"},"modified":"2015-12-01T09:20:41","modified_gmt":"2015-12-01T15:20:41","slug":"route-13kimberling-city-bridge-to-close-7-am-tuesday-december-8-for-24-hours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/broadcast.branson.com\/2015\/12\/01\/route-13kimberling-city-bridge-to-close-7-am-tuesday-december-8-for-24-hours\/","title":{"rendered":"Route 13\/Kimberling City Bridge To CLOSE 7 AM Tuesday December 8 For 24 Hours"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/broadcast.branson.com-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/MoDot.jpg\" alt=\"MoDot\" width=\"363\" height=\"112\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-53753\" srcset=\"https:\/\/broadcast.branson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/MoDot.jpg 363w, https:\/\/broadcast.branson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/MoDot-300x93.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 363px) 100vw, 363px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Kimberling City bridge which carries Route 13 traffic over Table Rock Lake will <strong>CLOSE <\/strong>for 24 hours beginning at 7 am on Tuesday December 8, and lasting until 7 am Wednesday, December 9, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.<\/p>\n<p>During the closing, <strong>NO TRAFFIC<\/strong> will be allowed across the bridge.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers will have to use Route 86 , Route 65, and other state routes in the area to get around the bridge closing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.modot.gov\/\">MoDOT<\/a> is working with emergency responders to develop plans to reduce response times during the major traffic restriction.<\/P><\/p>\n<p>During the closing, contractor crews will make repairs to the overhead steel trusses on the bridge. <strong>NO TRAFFIC<\/strong> can be on the bridge other than the work vehicles needed to complete the repairs.<\/p>\n<p>The work is part of a larger project to make major repairs to the Kimberling City bridge. Total cost of the project is $10 million.
