BRANSON, MO, JUNE 25, 2009 – Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness…America’s independence will be celebrated across the country and Branson is no exception…especially at Branson Landing—Branson’s premiere shopping and dining entertainment destination located in Historic Downtown
Branson on Lake Taneycomo.
The local community and visitors are invited to “Light Up” their Independence Day weekend celebration on Friday evening, July 3rd with a fantastic outdoor concert extravaganza, featuring “A Tribute to Journey” starring the ever talented and unforgettable band, Chain-Reaction. Back by popular demand, Chain-Reaction takes the stage at 8PM and promises to delight audiences of all ages as their famous melodies take listeners on a spectacular journey back to the ‘80’s with performances of timeless Journey hits like “Separate Ways,” “Don’t Stop Believin,” “Faithfully,” “Open Arms” and so many more.
“After the concert, the night skies will “Light Up” with an extraordinary fireworks event produced and presented by Gateway Fireworks Displays from St. Louis,” stated Tammy Scholten, Director of Marketing. “We’re very proud that Branson Landing’s Liberty Light Up fireworks display has been named a “Top Pick of the American Pyrotechnic Association” this year, with nine other “Top Picks” from around the United States. The “Liberty Light Up” display will be near the Landing’s signature Fountains and this one-of-a-kind choreographed spectacle is sure to amaze both young and young at heart, as it builds to an awe inspiring Gateway Fireworks Signature Grand Finale – not soon to be forgotten,” concluded Scholten.
Branson Landing’s Liberty Light Up celebration not only honors America’s independence, but serves as the official kick-off to Branson Landing’s FREE Summer Concert Series—featuring LIVE performances in front of the $7.5 million Water & Fire Spectacular Fountain Show in Branson Landing’s Town Square.

Kimberling City, MO – Swimming pools have historically been costly to manage and filled with chemicals. In response to this, the new Pointe 7 Condominiums on Table Rock Lake in Missouri offers residents a new solution for having fun and staying cool during the summer months.
The property’s new saltwater pool contains no impurities that can irritate eyes and skin, or fade swimwear. The softening effect of the sodium makes water feel softer and silkier. Employing the use of ordinary table salt, the pool’s Intellichlor system converts salt molecules into sodium and chlorine, and emits them at constant, low levels.
The result is an invigorating pool experience that delivers softer feeling skin. According to research published in the May 2009 issue of Casual Living, only 15% of pools were saltwater in 2002. Today, it is estimated that over 70% of pools being built will be saltwater. Pointe 7 is one of the first properties to offer a saltwater pool.
The developers of Pointe 7 Condos are dedicated to offering residents hassle-free, lakeside living. The unveiling of the property’s new saltwater pool is further evidence of this commitment. For more information, visit www.pointeseven.com or contact Kim Sullivan at 1-800-653-8234.
Pointe Seven is another landmark development of the Morelock-Ross group of companies. The Principals of Pointe Seven, Wayne Morelock, Kenny Ross and James Sivils have a combined 67 years of experience in real estate development. They have spent countless hours with their families enjoying Table Rock Lake and are proud to bring you their vision of luxury lakefront living.
Since 1982, Morelock-Ross has been delivering quality construction, unique architecture and superior service to their clients. A proven leader in commercial as well as residential developments, clients trust Morelock-Ross time and again with their building needs. As seasoned property managers, Morelock-Ross also prides itself on providing customers with the best possible living situation for their budget.

The Professional Anglers Association has joined forces with the Central Pro Am Association to offer a one of a kind opportunity for anglers fishing Central Pro Am in 2010. The new affiliation brings together two organizations with a unifying theme of tournament bass fishing, and support of the membership, the fishermen. According to John Crews, President of the PAA, “We are excited to implement partnerships such as this, as we feel it gives strength to both organizations, and as a result creates more opportunities for the anglers, which is important to the PAA.”
The partnership paves the way for the 2010 Central Pro Am Angler of the Year, along with the Co-angler of the Year, who will each receive a guaranteed slot in the 2011 PAA Tournament Series. In addition to covering entry fees for the anglers, Central Pro Am will also be providing assistance with expenses, making this a truly inexpensive shot at becoming a touring pro in 2011. “This could make a couple of our Central Pro Am’s anglers lifelong dreams come true, just by fishing a season with us…two of our anglers will be competing against some of the best talent in the country in 2011,” said Jim Thompson, owner of Central Pro Am.
Two lucky Central Pro Am Anglers also have a chance to compete with touring PAA pros in the 2009 PAA Corporate Cup, to be held September 10-12 on Lake Pickwick in Florence, AL. This unique opportunity is part of a joint PAA/CPAA membership drive. All members of Central Pro Am in good standing that join the PAA between June 1 and July 31, 2009 are registered for their chance to win this all expense paid trip courtesy of Central Pro Am.

This year’s “Small Business & Charity of the Year Dinner” is an important opportunity to honor business owners who may have faced concerns in the current economy, said Karen Hall of Ozark Mountain Bank, one of the event’s sponsors.
This is the 11th year for the event which will be held with a reception beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 19, at Buckinghams in the Clarion Hotel at the Palace. The event presented by the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is a way to recognize business owners who provide a significant and consistently positive contribution to the community. This year, an award also will be given in the not-for-profit category, said Director of Membership Services Ladona Johnson.
This year’s theme is “Small Businesses Are The Heartbeat of Branson,” and that’s an accurate sentiment, Hall said. “The sustaining factor for a community of any size is their small businesses. In our community, they are not necessarily those who cater to the tourism business, but to the people who live and breathe and work here, and they know who you are, and they have what you want.”
This is a good year to let those businesses know they are important to this community, Hall said. “People are concerned about where the economy is going and if they will be able to withstand what’s happening,” Hall said.
Not-for-profit agencies also face added challenges this year. Scott Earls, owner of The Vacation Channel, is sponsoring the award for the Charity of the Year.
Reservations for the event featuring a prime rib dinner are due by June 15. Cost is $35 per person, and seating is limited. Contact Ladona Johnson at 417-334-4084, ex. 314 or email [email protected].
