Branson’s David Lomascola, whose Million Dollar Piano Show brings a brand new dimension to the Branson entertainment scene, will teach a FREE Piano Master Class at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday September 27, 2008 at the Branson Star Theatre’s Crystal Showroom.

Lomascola is a consummate concert pianist, vocalist, composer and educator who received his Master of Music degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also studied at the Juilliard School of Music with James Barbagallo and in Los Angeles with famous pop pianist, Roger Williams.

“I am proud to be a member of the Branson community,” says Lomascola. “It is a pleasure and a joy for me to share God’s gifts with everyone in Branson.”

The piano master class is sponsored by Arkansas piano instructor Ann E. Shields and the Baldwin Piano Company. Shields became emotional and hopeful when she heard Lomascola play for the first time. “I was overcome when I realized he has a very close relationship to God,” Shields said. “I heard him playing all these beautiful hymns of the church with such great sensitivity. I was so glad he came to this area to bring this type of music to everyone.”

Shields’ students are excited about coming to Branson to hear a “gifted” concert pianist and to learn from him. “They are really looking forward to being able to hear a very fine piano played by a dedicated artist,” she said. “They are eager to ask questions of David.”

Three of Ann Shield’s students will perform music of Rachmaninoff, J.S. Bach, and others famous composers.
Everyone is invited to attend the master class where you will learn exciting things about music. It’s not just for pianists, it’s for everyone who wants to know more about music!

Lomascola will also perform a special 3 P.M. show immediately following the Piano Master Class. For more information and reservations please call the Branson Star Theatre box office at 417-334-7131 or 417-335-5397 or visit www.Lomascola.com.

Louis goes on, “We want all of our fans to be there, so we created a special $5.25 rate for those in the know.”
“Our fans have been clamoring for a recording to capture the fun and spontaneity of our live show for some time,” says Papa Kemp Horn, “and this is just the right time to do it.” The “timing” Kemp refers to is several public broadcasting stations that have recently expressed an interest in broadcasting the show.

10th Annual Hollister Grape and Fall Festival
Presented by the Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce

Hollister, MO (September 18, 2008) — September in Hollister marks the return of a favorite annual tradition. The 10th Annual Hollister Grape and Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, September 27th from 10 am to 6 pm on Downing Street in Historic Downtown Hollister. The Grape and Fall Festival features great food, crafts, children’s activities, live music and entertainment from some of Branson’s best performers, a wine tasting garden, and the signature event—the world famous Grape Stomp competition, where teams compete for the honor of winning the Ugly Monkey Trophy. The annual event is one of the most popular in the region, and attendance has exceeded 5,000 people in previous years. This year promises to be the most exciting and well-attended Grape and Fall Festival ever.

The Grape and Fall Festival is a celebration of Hollister’s 100 year history. In the early days, Hollister was an important stop on the railroad, and Fall was the time of year when people brought agricultural products and other goods to Hollister for transportation to larger markets. The Grape and Fall Festival celebrates Hollister’s past and ushers in Hollister’s future. Hollister is a city that values its past while forging ahead with growth and progress. Next year, Hollister will celebrate the opening of an 85,000 square foot indoor water park with another 3.5 acres of outdoor water park, two hotels, a 7,500 seat event center, and new retail shops and restaurants, among other development projects currently underway in the Hollister Area. Hollister welcomes progress, offers a very favorable business climate, and enjoys a wonderful quality of life.

10th Annual Hollister Grape and Fall Festival—Saturday, September 27th, 2008—10 am – 6 pm, Downing Street, Historic Downtown Hollister.
