Seminar on the Employee Free Choice Act/Card Check Bill

If you have questions, or need advice on how to talk to your employees about this issue, you will find answers at the EFCA—Card Check Seminar on Thursday, March 26, from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Clarion Hotel at the Palace. Organized labor’s top legislative priority is the deceptively-named Employee Free Choice Act, better known as the Card Check Bill. If passed, the secret ballot election will be gone! Companies will have only have ten days to respond to union negotiations and only ninety days to agree to a union contract. If negotiations fail, a government mediator will impose mandatory binding arbitration the company will be obligated to honor for two years.
