The Branson League of Theatre Owners and Show Producers, in conjunction with the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB, plans to present a “Branson Cares For Joplin Benefit Telethon” which is currently scheduled for June 26, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The plans for the telethon were just announced today. There be a city wide meeting on Monday, June 6, at 12:00 p.m. at the Baldknobbers Theatre for anyone who is interested in participating or volunteering with this fund raising effort for the benefit of our friends and neighbors in Joplin.

BRANSON, Mo. —Sight & Sound Theatres invites area residents to see “Noah—the Musical” in its final season for a special ticket price of $10 plus tax. Residents of Taney, Stone, Barry, Lawrence, and Christian counties in Missouri; and Carroll, Boone, and Marion counties in Arkansas; are able to purchase up to 6 tickets for any performance from May 24 through June 4.
Tickets are subject to availability and must be purchased on the day of the performance at the box office of Sight & Sound Theatres located at 1001 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. Residents will be required to show proof of residency, such as a utility bill or photo ID. Box Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

“Noah – the Musical” is a favorite of children and grown-ups alike. The sets and scenery for Noah are visually spectacular, and the message is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago. The production’s 300-foot stage that wraps around three sides of the audience, 40-foot high sets, cast of 45 actors, elaborate costumes, breathtaking special effects, and hundreds of live and animatronic animals captivate and transport audience members as they experience Noah and his family’s journey of persecution, faithfulness, hope and redemption.
“Noah—the Musical” runs through October 15, 2011. “Miracle of Christmas” returns to the stage on November 1 and runs through December 31, 2011. Sight & Sound’s newest original production, “Joseph,” will premiere for the 2012 season in Branson.
