Eat. Play. Give: J-1 Visa Sponsors Team Up to Celebrate First Annual J Day on August 4
BRANSON, MO. – Three J-1 Work and Travel Program sponsors have joined forces to launch the first annual J Day in Missouri, Texas and Virginia on Monday, August 4. J Day is a celebration of international exchange participants coming together in their communities to share cultural diversity and American customs.

CCI Greenheart, CENET: Cultural Exchange Network and Spirit Cultural Exchange will host J

Day events for J-1 participants in Fairfax, Virginia; Branson, Missouri; and Galveston, Texas, respectively. J Day events will offer participants unique activities to enjoy, such as an American
BBQ picnic, Olympic style games, and a scavenger hunt. In addition, participants attending each
J Day celebration are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to non-profit
organizations in each community.

Residents of the local communities are invited to attend; all ages are welcome!

The J-1 Work and Travel Program offers international university students the opportunity to experience the benefits of cultural exchange while working in seasonal positions in the United States. Each J-1 Work and Travel Program sponsor is designated by the United States Department of State (DOS). All three sponsors are also members of the Alliance for International Educational and Cultural Exchange.
