Posted In: City News by BroadcastBranson.com

The City of Branson will open a Reception Center for flood victims in the City as a central location for information regarding current flooding status and to report any needs of the citizens. The Reception Center will be located at Faith Lutheran Church located at 221 Malone Street, located adjacent to the Lakewood Subdivision.
“We have been taking a lot of phone calls from our residents inquiring about lake levels, how to restore power to their homes, and when they might be able to return home,” stated Branson’s Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director.
Residents will be able to use the Reception Center as a central point of contact to gather this information and to report damages to their homes. The Reception Center will be open today from 2:00 — 6:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Residents may enter the church at the main entrance located on the west side of the building where they will be greeted by volunteer staff and be able to report needs or obtain information regarding the flooding.
